And already we've had the first full-blown, melt-down tantrum worthy Geometry Homework Assistance session.
Man, I am wiped out!
And I'm supposed to deal with a full year of this?
Lydia had her first real homework assignment: graphing lines on an X-Y coordinate graph, in the form of Y=mX + B.
Egads, she needs to slow down, engage her brain, and stop panicking so darn fast!
I could easily have killed her last night, Kyriel. She was alternately wailing, sobbing, and interrupting explanations to respond to text messages! I nearly confiscated the damn Sidekick for a week to teach her a lesson.
At this rate, hiring a private tutor for an hour a day would be preferable to a repeat of last night's session - it reminded me forcibly of your early days of 6th grade math homework. Not an experience I really care to repeat.
We have to finish the homework assignment this evening. Pray for me.
Hugs,
Mom

Wow... she is starting early this year! I am very sorry and I would like to take this time to officially appologize for my behavior in 6th grade (at least I didn't have a phone though hehe). If she does something like that have her call me. I don't understand what is so hard about graphing a line? oh well I guess if she has never seen anything like that befoe.
Well I finished my second day on the job and I have decided that a desk job is not for me. Expecially when also working for someone slow!!!!!!!!!!!!
lots 'o love
