Back to summer

We're playing the "Schizophrenic Closet" game in Minnesota again -- on Sunday, the high temperature was 58, by Friday that high is supposed to be 85. Can't seem to settle on which season it's going to be: fall or summer. Makes for some strange wardrobe choices, particularly when it's cold in the morning and hot by the afternoon.

Dad is mailing off your box today, Priority Mail. You should have it by Saturday or Monday. I didn't include your short black boots because I couldn't find a medium size box, only a small one and a huge one. The boots will follow in the next box, I promise. Let me know if there are any winter clothes you want me to pack up and ship off, so that I can start looking for an appropriate sized box.

Not a whole lot else going on. Lydia has her second geometry test today, and the 8th grade Mixer tomorrow. Dad's got a short voice recording for an Artic Cat television commercial to be recorded tomorrow. I'm assuming that we're going to have Kevin for much of the weekend to put in the floor and the window trim, and hopefully Nicole will be sufficiently recovered so that they can stay for dinner on Sunday. (I gave away all four tickets I had to the Vikings game on Sunday; it was turning into too much of a hassle to convince dad that he should come to the game with me.) So I'll probably spend a few hours each weekend afternoon starting to cut down the garden.

Hope your week ends on a high note, and that you're not too bogged down with homework, reading and studying. Hope this warm weather makes it to Vermont, too!

Love,
Mom
