And now it's freaking Tuesday, and I haven't posted a blog entry for a week! Bad mommy!!!
After a gloriously sunny Saturday, and an unseasonably warm/humid Sunday, we emerged from the weekend into cold rain and definite fall weather on Monday. Temperatures dropped at least twenty degrees while I was at work - it was COLD driving home!
Fun talking to you last night on speaker phone with Dad while I was putting together Parmesan chicken for dinner. Sounds like you're just taking every advantage of what Vermont has to offer, both academically and socially, and we're all so glad.
I talked to Grandma today, by the way, and forewarned her that you were expecting to be a carnivore during the Thanksgiving vacation and not to serve baked lentils and the like. Dropped an email to Jennifer as well - they'll take care of you! If you would like to send a list of Most Desired Meals ahead of time, and perhaps offer to cook one night, I'm sure Grandma and Grandpa will be more than delighted to serve up what you're longing to eat.
Lydia continues to keep up with her school work and not freak out about geometry, though as per usual she's leaving a few too many study sessions until the last minute....typical Lydia! But she and I are still having good times listening to Harry Potter cds and chatting in the bathroom while one of us is soaking in the tub.
Can't wait to hear what you think of the contents of your latest Care Package from home - I'm on tenterhooks, waiting for you to call!
