So, Kyriel, it dawns on me this morning at work that you & I have exactly THREE DAYS until our flight leaves for Connecticut and from thence to Vermont -- OMG, as Lydia would say!
Man, do we have a lot of things still left on our myriad of lists, not the least of which is the purchase of some sort of garment rack/dresser/clothes storage unit. Cross your fingers, sweetie, and hope that there is a lot of floor space in your dorm room, or that you can stash some of your belongings in the common area....otherwise, you'll have to start hanging things from the ceiling, and I don't mean Christmas lights....
And what a bummer that your allergies should choose this point in time to flare up and make you tired and miserable! I'm seriously hoping that the change of climate, and consequent change of flora, will make a positive difference in your seasonal allergy situation. It's got to suck for you every month of August - you feel run down, your muscles go AWOL, skating becomes a nightmare, and you're tired all the time. Crossing my fingers that a lack of prairie grass in VT is a good thing for you.
